1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ContractSpec Studio ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms and will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
ContractSpec Studio is a spec-first decision engine that ingests product evidence, produces deterministic impact reports, and exports certified work items. The Service includes the web application, API, MCP server, and Agency Kit. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Each user may belong to up to 5 organizations. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at security@contractspec.studio.
4. Permitted use
You may use the Service for lawful business purposes. You may not: reverse-engineer the Service, resell access without written agreement, submit content that violates applicable law, attempt to circumvent usage limits or security controls, or use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you submit. We process your data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Evidence is chunked, embedded, and PII-redacted before processing. We never store raw audio. You may export or delete your data at any time.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by Chaman Ventures, SAS. Artifacts generated by the Service (change cards, briefs, exports) belong to you. Our open-source packages are released under the MIT License.
7. Billing and payments
Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a per-seat, monthly basis. Prices are listed on the Pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Free plans remain free. Metered usage (evidence chunks, Agency Kit scans, Autopilot runs) is subject to plan limits. Overages are blocked, not billed, unless you opt in to overage billing. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of charge.
8. Service levels
We target 99.9% uptime for the web application. Enterprise plans include a formal SLA with defined response times and remedies. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, force majeure, or your own infrastructure.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chaman Ventures, SAS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms with notice. On termination, your data is retained for your configured retention period, then hard-deleted. Export your data before closing your account.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
